Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 30/April/2025

1. Introduction

TS Documents is built on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Lightning Components. So you may refer to Salesforce Privacy Policy in regards to use of Salesforce. Then TS Documents uses your Google Drive account to get google docs for templates and to generate new google docs and save them into your Google Drive. You control the access of your google docs within your Google Drive account for each document. Then TS Documents has a Google Script that is hosted on Google that processes the document requests to generate documents. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more information about using their service.

2. Information We Access

All the data comes with your own Salesforce org, and is processed on Google and saved within your Google Drive. TS Documents itself does not process or store any of your data from Salesforce or from your Google Drive account.

TS Documents requests access to specific Google user data through OAuth 2.0 authentication:

Google Docs Content: Access to the body, header, and footer of documents that users explicitly create via the app.

Google Drive Files: Ability to create and manage files generated through the app, limited to those the user has explicitly selected or created.

Google Account Email: Retrieval of the user's Google account email address to display the connected account within the app interface.

3. How We Use Your Data

When you authorize your Google account to use within Salesforce under the TS OAuth Access tab, you are authorizing Salesforce with the TS Documents app to create new and modify your Google Documents. The Oauth token of access is saved in a protected custom setting within Salesforce. The authorization is also saved in your Google Account. If you go to Apps Connected to Your Account page in Google you can see the list of 3rd party apps you have authorized to use your Google Account and can de-authorize TS Documents there. The access token is saved within your Salesforce org and TS Documents does not have access to this directly. Using that Oauth token saved in your Salesforce TS Documents using Apex is able to make API calls to Google to create a copy of the template document in your Google Drive, then to update the document with the merge fields. The Google Doc is saved within your Google Drive.

The accessed data is used solely to:

Open and edit selected Google Docs for dynamic content replacement.

Create new documents in your Google Drive.

Display your connected Google account email within the app interface.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any unrelated purposes.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Google Docs Content: We do not store any content from your Google Docs. All processing occurs in real time during your session.

Google Account Email: Used only for display purposes within the app and is not stored or shared externally.

Generated Files: If you choose to generate files in other formats (e.g., PDF), these are stored within your Google Drive or Salesforce org, not on our servers.

5. Data Protection

We use industry-standard security practices:

OAuth 2.0 authentication to access Google account data securely.

Token storage in Salesforce’s secure settings.

We do not store or process data on external servers.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to any third parties. All data processing is confined to features explicitly authorized by the user.

7. User Control and Data Deletion

You may revoke our access at any time via your Google Account settings.

We do not retain user data, so there's nothing stored to delete on our side. Files remain in your Drive or Salesforce account.

8. Compliance with Google Policies

TS Documents fully complies with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We only access what is required for our app to function and do not use or share that data beyond what is described here.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised effective date.
